Plett Seal Adventures offers a 1.5-hour guided Seal Viewing trip to the Robberg Nature Reserve, a marine protected area in Plettenberg Bay. It’s a relaxed, fun outdoor activity for the whole family, and you stay dry.
How it works:
Meet us at our kiosk at the bottom of Meeding Street, in the Hobie Beach parking area next to the showers. Please arrive 30 minutes before departure.
Take a 20-minute boat ride to the colony, home to over 6,000 seals.
Spend 30 minutes watching the seals up close from the boat. Have your camera ready, as there is always something happening in the colony.
Enjoy a scenic ride back to the beach.
Your guides take photos of the trip, and you can download them free from our website.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to see & swim with the seals, the chaps even went out of their way to stop by the shipwreck for us. An unforgettable experience, would highly recommend! - Sharon
Most amazing experience, getting up close with the seals. The guides were very knowledgeable and kept us entertained. Highly recommend you add this experience to your visit to Plettenberg Bay. - Rosa

It was a great experience, with a friendly and professional team. Thank you! - Claire
Very nice boat ride. Getting real close to the seal colony. Amazing, to see them that close and in such numbers. The captain gave much information about the way the animals live and move, and about the Robberg Peninsula. Relaxing and exciting. - Peter
