For those of you in the family who do not wish to snorkel but do not want to miss out on this exciting boat ride out to the beautiful Robberg Nature Reserve to view the seals, you can accompany your family & friends on our boat.
You will be met on arrival at the dive centre to sign in before taking a short stroll on the beach to the boat & experience a true Plett-style beach launch. Once out at Robberg you will be able to observe a variety of Nature in & out of the water, including the largest flock of Cape Cormorants & the ever so elegant Cape Gannet, not forgetting our amazing Cape Sea Fur Seals interacting with the snorkelers. You might even be lucky enough to see the whales & dolphins that frequently visit the bay.
WHERE TO MEET:
Please drive straight to the Beacon Island Hotel Main Entrance. Park outside & follow our signs on the walkway to the left of the boom gate. We are INSIDE the Beacon Island Hotel complex, next to the volleyball courts. If you need any further directions please ask the security.
MEETING TIME:
The time advertised is the launch time, please meet at our dive centre no later than 30 minutes before the time.

We booked a seal viewing boat trip as a group of four friends from J-Bay and from the moment we arrived we had a great time, Tatiana was lively and friendly with such great energy and Micheal,the skipper on our trip,was so enthusiastic about what he does and really informative about the seals and marine life around Plett. The wind started to pick up on our way back and instead of heading back over open water as the other operators were doing he took us closer along the sheltered coast so we could enjoy the trip back. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and that was greatly appreciated. We will be back next time we find ourselves in Plett. Fantastic experience!!! - Estera
