The worlds best bungy jump and the most amazing experience of your life!
The view from Africa’s highest bridge captures all the majesty and tranquility of the Bloukrans River valley. Your experience starts with a zipline out to the to top of the bridge arch. The bungy jump makes use of a pendulum system to ensure the smoothest, most comfortable bungee jump possible. After the initial freefall, you are pulled into a giant pendulum motion and then into the big rebound.
Jumpers are secured in a full-body harness combined with a separate ankle connection to the bungy cord. For the last 25 years we have kept all our jumpers safe and secure.

Photo and video footage is available for viewing and purchase in our retail shop after your jump. (All digital products are sent via SMS and email which you can instantly download).

Experience was great and awesome - a giant leap of faith - that comes with safe preparation, faciltation of jump execution and recovery. Counting 1 to 5 before the jump is just right (not rushed if 3 or held in suspense if 10.) I asked if jumping with arms positioned like a swim dive with head between biceps is better or with arms open. The latter as advised is better. I felt light and flying like an eagle (promise) and everything seem to happen so swiftly moving down but the waiting in stillness at recovery stage seemed forever. Waah! But having watched and recall how harness were safely fastened dismissed the thought that my lower legs are like being released. We had an AMAZING day. We went with the intention of my son aged 22 to do the jump which he did but then somewhere along the way I got talked into doing it. I'm a 56 year old woman who doesn't even like fairground rides and so this was a big deal! The staff are awesome. You feel totally safe as they are really well trained A fantastic day. With this four hour Extended Kayak and Lilo trip you will get to explore deeper into the hidden world of the Storms River gorge with long, bottomless pools, deep caves and ancient forests with nothing but the quiet noises of nature around you.
We will equip you with a uniquely designed Anvil which is a combination of the kayak and lilo. But don’t let the name fool you; they are easy to paddle but you do need to be fit and strong be able to carry the Anvils over rocks, but the beauty is well worth the hard work!
We start at our shop just above the small harbor inside the National Park, here you will meet your guides and receive all your gear. Please leave valuables in your vehicle, we do provide crates to store change of clothes. After a briefing we depart with two experienced guides leading the trip. We starts with a hike through the forest and over the famous suspension bridge where our Kayaks will be waiting for us. Here we continue the adventure on the normal Kayak and Lilo route. where we normally turn around with the Lilo’s you will go deeper into the gorge equipped with our Anvil boats.
The Anvil is a new generation hydro speed and making it ideal for technical river running. With this experience you will get to see more of the Storms River Gorge and enjoy the beautiful ravine with its awe experience and scenery that you will never forget.
Please note: We are located INSIDE the National Park, and gate entry fee’s must be paid upon arrival. Please note that we are currently experiencing approximately one hour delays at the entrance gate due to renovations by SANPARKS. Please allow for extra time.
During peak summer season it can take an hour or longer to get through the National Park gate. Please allow for this in your travel planning as there are no refunds for late/no shows.
