Our AfriCanyon river adventure starts with registration, getting your wetsuit, kit and a quick briefing at basecamp. We then transfer you to the river entry point, a short drive in our vehicle and within minutes you are on your way. A brilliant combination of fun and adventure in the great outdoors!
Run the river with AfriCanyon, navigate through the river shallows, swim through natural tannin coloured fresh-water mountain pools, maneuver down water slides and abseil waterfalls as you dip down into the river gorge.

Fabulous canyoning trip! The guides Puna and Warren were so good, they both really helped Chris who has arthritis in his knees and a lack of balance to enjoy the activity to the fullest. We both had a wonderful time in the safe hands of the guides. The views inside ethe csnyon were great, the jumping clambering, zip lining and abseiling were great, the lovely lady, Esse, in the office was so good at organising us beforehand and super friendly throughout via email. The Skywalk Tour is designed to cater to everyone.
The SkyWalk is an opportunity to experience more about of the bungy jumping operation and learn about the construction of the bridge.
The SkyWalk starts with some general information and an awe inspiring view of the Bloukrans River Gorge and the massive expanse of the arch Bridge where the Bungy takes place.
The tour then moves to the museum. Here you will learn more about the history of Bloukrans Bungy jumping operation and its influence on Bungy jumping in Southern Africa. We also delve into the amazing engineering used to build this mega structure.
Included in the tour is the exhilarating experience of walking on the suspended walkway 216 meters above the Bloukrans River. It is bolted to the underside of the road deck and leads out to the top of the arch where the bungy jumping takes place.

Loved the experience of the SkyWalk. Although we didn't do the Bungay jump we enjoyed watching others whilst we were ion the bridge. The Bungay looked fantastic. Great morning - would definitely recommend - Sara Leckenby
